Launch Date: February 5, 2025

How Does It Work?

QuickBuild operates with two core elements: Builder and Pages.

  • Builder: Create and customize pages to reflect your business processes.

  • Pages: Once configured and published, your pages appear in the side menu for creating, editing, and managing your records.

You’re in the driver seat to design your own experience with no coding required.

What Kind of Pages Can You Create?

QuickBuild currently offers two page types: Reference and Transaction.

  • Reference Pages: These house your foundational data such as customers, vendors, assets, items, machines, people, and more.

  • Transaction Pages: Perfect for processes like Sales, Purchases, Production, Warehousing, and Projects. Think of this as your process flows, where each transaction stage is built for your unique process

How Can You Customize Pages?

QuickBuild is all about flexibility. Here’s how you can make it yours:

  • Custom Fields: Choose from Auto Increment IDs, Text, Numbers, Dropdowns, Dates, Emails, and more. Even add a “one to many” field like multiple contacts for one customer. For Transaction Pages, add tables, like Sales Orders with multiple lines, and add custom calculations as well.

  • Reference Links: Link transactions to reference data, like adding a Customer to a Sales Order or an Asset to a Maintenance Record.

  • Stages: Think of it as your own person Domino’s Pizza Tracker for your business. Define stages like “Quote → Order → Invoice” or “Planned → In Progress → Complete.” Filter by stage, and create workflows tailored to your business. Stages ensure every process flows exactly the way you want it.

  • Made a mistake? Need more? Simply reorder, rename, or reconfigure fields as needed at any time.

  • Custom Names: Rename pages and fields to match your branding and terminology, whether it’s “Clients” instead of “Customers” or “Tickets” instead of “Production.”

  • Required Fields: Keep data consistent by marking certain fields as mandatory. For transaction pages, configure each field customized to any stage.

What Are the Limitations?

We’re small-business focused but not perfect. Here’s where we’re improving:

  • Saving Changes: You need to press “Save” in the Builder for updates to take effect. Intentional to build habits, but a bit clunky.

  • Aggregate and Calculation Fields: Currently, these aren’t well designed or optimized. We do have them, but reach out to our team if you need them. We’ll make them public soon.

  • User Management: Multiple users currently need to be set up manually in the backend. We’ll add this functionality soon.

  • Mobile View: Desktop works great, but mobile support hasn’t even been looked at.

  • Auto Increments: Limited to numeric or alpha-numeric formats (e.g., A1000 or 1000, but not A1B100). Symbols like “A-1000” aren’t supported yet.

  • Change Management: Changes to pages go live immediately. If we have customers who want a more robust change or approval system, we’ll start working through that.
